FATHER’S DAY DANCE DECORATIONS
For each dance, the Decorations Committee produces artistic ornaments for
the tables. On this occasion, they have produced individual depictions of
hobbies the menfolk often enjoy. Below is a montage of their creative efforts.

Usually on the third Saturday evening of each month, a three-hour concert is held in
the Main Hall, featuring different bands or DJs to entertain the audience. The doors
open at 6:30 p.m., and the dance ends at 10 p.m.
Your $15 entrance fee includes a light lunch of varied home-made sandwiches,
veggies and dessert squares.
This event is open to members and guests only, age 19+.
The bar features a wide variety of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
Not a dancer? No problem! Many simply come to socialize and enjoy the music.

Copper Canyon
The Rivals
In the Main Hall, Valley Seniors’ house band Island Spirit performs a half-length
concert every Wednesday starting at 11 a.m. (sometimes a bit earlier). This
popular weekly event lets members practice their best dance moves and grooves
to live music. A ten-minute break halfway through allows the shoes to cool off
while dancers enjoy their lunch, consisting of home-made offerings from the
kitchen. The choices often include a Lunch Special.
Attendance is FREE to all members.
LINE DANCING
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Main Hall.
Light, entertaining exercise for any age. Current participants are in their sixties
through their nineties. Come join the fun. Coordinator: Win Teague
